Map portal – information
The purpose of the EO-BALP Lubuskie map portal application is to make the project’s results available in the form of a set of thematic maps for each topic.
The map portal application was developed using Leaflet, a leading open-source JavaScript library for creating interactive maps. The simplicity of the application’s architecture ensures that it is completely independent of the publishing platform.
The application should work in any modern browser that supports JavaScript, on any operating system and any type of device. It features a simple and intuitive user interface optimised for mobile devices, information on all thematic areas, links to specific topics and interactive features.

The default map application window for the EO-BALP Lubuskie portal (web browser).
Features
The application interface consists of two main elements: the map window and a side panel that can be closed on demand (see the ‘Interface’ section below). The side panel contains all the elements needed to manipulate the displayed content. The panel can be closed at any time, in which case the map window fills the entire browser window. The interface elements adapt responsively to its size.
