Webinar: ESA Copernicus products for monitoring ecosystem services
PTK Lubuskie R&D&I, the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, BSS Latvia and the European Space Agency, as part of activities related to the implementation of the EO-BALP-CCN1 project – Integrated multi-source data in the assessment and monitoring of ecosystem services, invite you to participate in a webinar entitled ‘ESA Copernicus products for monitoring ecosystem services’.
The meeting will feature presentations on selected products and data from the ESA Copernicus / CLMS programme, as well as their practical applications in the analysis, assessment and monitoring of ecosystem services. The webinar is aimed in particular at participants in the survey conducted as part of the EO-BALP-CCN1 project; however, we also invite other representatives of public administration, the scientific community, planners, environmental experts and anyone interested in the use of satellite imagery for environmental protection and sustainable development.

- Introduction and general overview of the EO-BALP-CCN1 project (Jarosław Januszewski, PTK Lubuskie R&D&I).
- The Copernicus Programme (Konrad Wróblewski, Institute of Geodesy and Cartography).
- Copernicus Programme products relating to the monitoring of ecosystem services in the Lubuskie Province (Julia Baranowska and Wiktor Mróz, Institute of Geodesy and Cartography).
- Space Systems Development Partnership – ICT materials and technologies within the framework of the Lubuskie Smart Specialisation: Innovative Industry (Katarzyna Cheba, PTK Lubuskie R&D&I).
- Q&A and discussion.
The webinar will take place on 22 January 2026 at 10:00 am on the Teams platform. The online session will last approximately 2 hours. Participation in the webinar is free of charge. No registration is required.
